I’m a bit late with my Word of the Week post this week, but I didn’t have to think for very long about what my word would be this week:
On Wednesday, we had our 12-week ultrasound scan. I was so very nervous in the lead up and when we arrived, but all seems fine with Little R-M so far and I’m so very relieved.
I hadn’t been sleeping too well in the lead-up and hadn’t realised I was particularly tense, but the feeling of a weight lifting from my shoulders as we saw our little one on the screen was immense.
Having got to this stage in the pregnancy, we can now tell our friends about it. I’d sort of been in hiding a little bit since we found out as I didn’t want to feel like I was hiding things from friends when I saw them, so it’s a relief to be able to share our lovely news with them at last.
And on Friday, I told work I am pregnant and they were really lovely about it. Huge relief for everyone to know and that all has gone well.
Now to catch up on that sleep…
Congratulations! Always a relief to see little one doing well on that screen. So pleased all’s well and you can relax now. Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
Thanks so much, it’s lovely to see them having a wriggle isn’t it! X
