I totally missed Me and Mine in January. I just forgot. Best to blame baby brain, I think! And if I’m entirely honest, I nearly missed February too and remembered when we were at the park last Sunday, so it’s a selfie month, but sometimes, I love the reality of a quick phone snap just as much or more than the set up shots.
Mr M was working on Saturday and we hadn’t planned much for Sunday, so we had a lovely walk around our village and ended up at Lottie’s favourite place – the park. She thoroughly enjoyed having a willing victim to climb with her, as boring mummy isn’t too keen on the climbing frame at 38 weeks pregnant. She is walking now (albeit entirely on her terms, when and how far she wants to) and climbing is her favourite thing in the world.
I wonder if this was our last weekend as a family of three. Although, there is no movement with bump at the moment, so we could be waiting a while longer at this rate. February will however, definitely be our last month as a family of three, so as we welcome March, we have lots to look forward to.
February has been a month of me moaning about various pregnancy woes, us getting excited about the nearing arrival of our new baby, Lottie developing by the day, and Mr M and I desperately trying to get the house in order before our lives are changed again with a newborn. He has done an amazing job on decorating Lottie’s new room and there are just a few final touches to do now. She is sleeping in there and absolutely loves it. I’ve been cleaning like a mad woman since going on maternity leave, as I just haven’t had time to ‘deep clean’ while I’ve been working, and we’re now as ready as we will ever be.
We have loose plans for a lovely weekend as a three, but lets wait and see if we get to carry them out…
Thats a lovely selfie and nice to document this last month as a three, such an exciting one to come, happy march! x
Thank you lovely xx
Wow, how exciting! I found you through me and mine so congratulations! Mine is 14 months in a few days and the idea of another child is enough for my ovaries to tie themselves!!
Lovely photos! Have a wonderful march (one way or another I’m sure you will!)
Haha, funnily enough, this one wasn’t planned quite so soon, but we’re delighted nonetheless. Thanks lovely, have a great March too xx
Ahh love a good park day out with the family. These are so lovely. Hope you have a wonderful month ahead. #meandmineproject
