Yay! I’m on time with Me and mine this month.
AND I got the tripod out! Extra points.
We went to a local stately home, which holds a few events each year where the public can visit the grounds and this time of year, the gardens are opened up for a snowdrop event. The land is absolutely massed with the flowers and is so so pretty.
As soon as we got there, Lottie got tired, so getting her out of the pram wasn’t really an option unless we wanted a photo of her screaming, but that wasn’t putting me off.
So we set up the tripod, took a photo…
And the batteries died! I was so proud of myself for being so organised, but I failed at the last hurdle. Good job we were all looking in the right direction.
We then took a few on the phones, but they’re not the same are they…
Never mind, nearly there. Maybe next month, I’ll get it all together!
February has been a pretty quiet month for us, which hasn’t been a bad thing really, after a few hectic months, it’s been nice to be at home a bit more and settle into a bit of a routine.
Aww I still think you got a lovely shot! This was our first month of being prepared too, didn’t realise how tricky it was haha xx
What a beautiful background, those snowdrops are lovely. And I love that Lottie is all snuggled in her buggy still- why not! 🙂 x
Aaw, thanks Katie. It would have been a meltdown if we had moved her, so there she stayed! xx
