So, I’ve bitten the bullet and booked a ticket for Britmums Live.
I’ve been umming and ahhing about it for months now, but I’ve really grown to love blogging and the blogging community, so in the end, I decided to go for it.
Here my meme:
Name – Katie Roberts-Mason
Blog – https://heelsandhooves.co.uk
Twitter ID – @Heelsandhooves
Height – 5’10”. I know.
Hair – Mousey with blonde highlights
Eyes – Brown
Is this your first blogging conference? – Yes it is. I’m a bit nervous…
Are you attending both days? – I hope to, but I may have to work on the Friday sadly. I haven’t broached leaving early with my manager yet, as we are out at a TV shoot that day.
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015? – Getting lots of valuable advice on how to make my blog better and ideas to try out. I am also really looking forward to meeting some other bloggers in the flesh, rather than just over social media etc.
I think there is going to be a #BlogBumpClub meet up at some point, which would be fab. I’ve been following and chatting with lots of pregnant bloggers, so it would be good to meet and compare bumps/new babies.
What are you wearing? Despite the fact I would usually have this planned down to a T by now and even know what colour nail polish I will be wearing, I’m ashamed to say I have no idea.
At Britmums, I will have just turned 33 weeks pregnant. To date, my maternity wardrobe has been sooooo uninspiring – a few pairs of jeans and a few tops, with lots of flowing cardigans. But now summer is here and I’m stumped if I’m honest. I can’t afford to buy too many items, so I’m going to have to plan a capsule third trimester wardrobe I think.
I was hoping that some of my normal summer dresses would still fit over bump, but having tried to get ready for a baby shower recently and ended up in an ‘I’m not going” whinging, crying ‘I’m so huge’ heap, I’ve realised that they don’t. Any ideas gratefully received!
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015? – A better understanding of blogging, new ideas and hopefully some new friends.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before? – You’re not the only newbie and if you fancy meeting up, drop me an email – [email protected].
Oh how fab, hope you have lots of fun! I’m hoping to go too, will have to keep an eye out for you if I do! xx
Lovely to ‘meet’ you, I’m going too, plus bump!
Oh how lovely Rhiannon! We should meet up and compare bumps! 😉 Have you been before? xx
Hey I’ve just bitten the bullet too & booked my ticket & hotel. Just the train ticket to sort out. I’m so used to seeing other blogger do ‘train selfies’ & now I get to do one! Yay! Looking forward to seeing you there. BTW great name my daughter is a Katie! 🙂 Lizzie XO
Oh fabulous! I look forward to seeing your train selfie… Is that a trelfie? 😉 Look forward to seeing you there – great taste in names too! xx
How exciting – I hope you do manage to get the Friday off work to come, but if not there will still be plenty to do on the Saturday 🙂
As for maternity clothes for the summer, have you tried eBay? People often sell their clothes on, having only been worn a couple of times, so it can be a great way to grab a bargain!
I’ve managed to get the Friday off work so will be there Amanda! Yay! Great idea re maternity clothes, thank you! Will have a browse now xxx
