I was convinced while pregnant that Lottie would be a boy. I didn’t mind either way, but I thought I had the mother’s instinct and knew her gender. I was wrong.
As we didn’t find out what we were having while I was pregnant, all of the pre-Lottie wardrobe purchases had to be gender neutral in greys, whites, creams etc. But if I’m honest, due to my ‘intuition’, some of them did sway towards a boy’s style.
Since Lottie arrived, we have been inundated with some of the prettiest clothes and I’m rather enjoying having a little girl to dress up. And I’m really looking forward to shopping trips with her in the future, but that’s a long way off yet.
So I thought I would join in with the lovely ‘what my baby wore’ style posts to give you a peek inside Lottie’s wardrobe. The clothes available for boys and girls now are so gorgeous and I love reading these posts for inspiration and ideas.
So, first up is this very girlie pretty romper bought by my brother from Emile et Rose. It has a matching hat too, but it’s a bit too warm at the moment for a hat, so she has only worn the romper so far. The fine wool is so soft and the flower details are just beautiful:
Lottie even looks stylish in her cot most nights and I am in love with this sleepsuit from Jojo Maman Bebe – a gift from my sister. I remember when both these outfits were given to us, thinking Lottie would never be big enough to fit into them, but they now fit perfectly. Where’s my tiny baby gone!?
Excuse the knees up pose – she does love to wriggle.
And finally, I am in love with these leggings from Next, which we teamed with a vest from Tesco and our favourite socks, also from Next, which are the only ones that don’t fall off all the time and are so pretty.
How adorable is she! Beautiful outfits, my favourite is the first romper. I love those flowers x

Aaw thank you! The romper is so pretty, isn’t it. I’m trying to get as much wear out of it as I can before she grows out of it! xx #WhatMyBabyWore
She’s getting sooo big! I miss small baby girl clothes, they’re way cuter than he size indie is in now haha xx
Dressing up a girl is so much fun right? I just love it!! These outfits are just adorable. I especially love the pink romper x #tt_thursday
Isn’t it just? Can’t wait for her to fit into some of her 0-3 month clothes as she has some gorgeous bits. Desperate to shop more but probably have enough that she hasn’t even worn at the moment! Thanks lovely, it’s gorgeous isn’t it! xx
Ooooo Lottie, you are adorable! Loving your romper and looking forward to watching you grow up. Thank you for sharing and welcome to #TT_Thursday

She is just too cute! That first romper is absolutely beautiful. I love those socks from Next, I’m always buying the next size up when they get small as they are so nice!

Thank you! The socks are awesome! I need bigger ones now too xx
Aaww Lottie is absolutely gorgeous! Bless her! We’re having the same problem with Brooke that none of her 0-3 clothes really fit her yet and we don’t really have that much newborn stuff – and I’m determined not to buy any more!! Haha
I was convinced Brooke was a boy as well so don’t worry you’re not the only one
XOXO
No! No more newborn clothes! Lol. Oh good glad it’s not just my mother instinct that is way off! ? xx
