Introducing our new baby Lottie Bella

You may have noticed if you’ve popped by Heels and Hooves recently, that we have been rather quiet for the past few weeks. Well, there is a pretty good reason for that.

A few weeks  ago, Mr M and finally moved into our lovely new house. It was a pretty stressful day as most house moves are, but when we shut the front door behind us that evening, I couldn’t have been happier. We had our own family home and despite the boxes and the topsy turvy-ness of it all, I loved it.

We were in for four nights when I woke in the early hours of Saturday morning having contractions. Little R-M was coming to join us finally!

In time I will write my full birth story, but we went to hospital early afternoon and after much pushing and pain, our beautiful new baby daughter, Lottie Bella arrived into the world at 5.52am last Sunday.

She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen and I quite honestly never knew I had so much love to give to someone. So far she seems very content and happy. We are having a few breastfeeding issues, but other than that, we are getting on quite nicely.

She loves sleeping, eating and cuddling. She hates having her clothes changed and having her feet tickled.

I’ll leave you with some of her first photos. I’m  off to make memories with my family, but I’ll be back soon. Meanwhile the baby spam is filling my social media feeds if you fancy a peek.

Just born
