Happy days: A Halloween party and snuggles

Finally I feel a little less tired, so Lottie and I have been out and about a bit more, which she absolutely loves and to be honest, so do I.

Things that have made me happy this week are:

Walks in the countryside – The mild autumn continues. Yay. And we have been out for some lovely walks among the pretty leaves this week. A few times with my mum and her dogs, which Lottie loves as she just adores animals, so she watches them the whole time.

Ladies who lunch – We went out with our group of village mums and babies for lunch at the local pub this week to celebrate a few first birthdays. It was really nice to catch up with everyone. Lots of the mums are back at work now, so we don’t get to see them as much. It wasn’t exactly relaxing with seven babies to keep tabs on, but it was lots of fun.

Halloween Zumbini – Our Zumbini class was a Halloween party this week and Lottie went as a skeleton. She also had a bit of a breakthrough and spent five minutes playing without me. Usually she is really clingy when we are out, so I was a proud mummy to see her being a bit more independent.

Shopping trip – We took my mum out for a few hours to our local shopping centre and had a coffee and chat with her. She’s not able to drive any more, so it’s important to try and get her out as much as possible.

Snuggles – Lottie has suddenly become a bit more cuddly and I’m really enjoying snuggles. She’s always been too busy for cuddling, but I think she is getting exhausted from all her walking practice and slowing down for a few seconds here and there. She even watched a bit of In the Night Garden while snuggling with Mr M this week! She never usually stays still long enough to watch TV.

I love when children suddenly get cuddly. It took G about 3 years to decide she liked cuddles!! Where has the mild weather gone? Freezing now!! Thank you for joining in #HappyDaysLinky xx

Aww Lottie ‘ s bunches are totally cute! My boys have been super snuggly this week, I wonder if it’s connected to us being pregnant? Thanks for linking up to #HappyDaysLinky x

Aaw thanks lovely – her hair is just uncontrollable sometimes, that they’re the only way to tame it! Maybe it is because we are pregnant – I hadn’t thought of that, bless them xx
