Is it just me who gets more excited about Halloween than my children? To be fair, the girls are too little to understand much yet, but having little ones is the perfect excuse to get the house all cosy and ready for when the trick or treaters come to knock. I just love this time of year in general. I’m not a big fan of the dark mornings and nights when you have to be out in them, but I do love it when we’re at home. I’ve been known to put my PJs on when the girls go down for their afternoon nap, and there are always candles burning and curtains drawn.
Lottie and Frankie have a Halloween Zumbini party lined up we always dress them up on the evening of Halloween so they can answer the door. Lottie gets so excited to see the other children in their outfits, so I’m excited to see how Frankie will react this year.The outfits are ready – Lottie is a witch and Frankie is a cat in case you were wondering (don’t worry, I’ll spam the ‘gram with photos I’m sure).
