27 weeks: Bumpdate

27 weeks

Feeling: I’ve had a week of work and it has done me the power of good. Just for having a few days break, I am feeling like a new woman, so no more moaning about tiredness this week, I promise.

I am currently dog sitting for my parents while they are on holiday, so have been walking for about 45minutes a day and I think this has really helped me to get less stiff than when I’m sitting at my desk all day too, so I’m going to try and keep that up when I get home too.

Baby’s movement seems to be back to normal now, which is a huge relief after last week’s scare. And other than that, there’s not much to report other than occasional heartburn still, which I’m hoping will stay an irregular occurence.

Appointments: I had a new booking appointment this week, as we are moving to a different hospital for the birth, which is close to our new house. It was a bit tedious as it goes through all the same things as your original one, but it was good to have a catch up with my midwife and chat about the hospital visit last week, and a few other things I’ve wanted to ask about.

I’ve also now booked our parentcraft classes and a breastfeeding class, so I’m feeling very smug and organised.

Looking: My lovely friend just came over to do my hair and told me that pregnancy really suits me. I love her! I don’t think I look much different this week.

Craving: Still toast.

Sleeping: I’ve suddenly got my sleeping talent back. Long may it continue. I have even had two nights where I haven’t needed to get up to go to the loo, which was amazing!

Baby is the size of: A cauliflower.

Ooh this reminds me I need to look into classes, I never knew there was a breastfeeding one. Glad all is well, not long for us now! Xx
