15 weeks: Bumpdate

15week bumpdate

Feeling; Still so tired that it could be mistaken for jetlag! And it doesn’t seem to improve with sleep – how does that work? I’m also still feeling quite faint at times, but only if I’m tired, low on blood sugar, or have got up to quickly.

Luckily though, the nausea has almost passed.

Incredibly hormonal (Mr M will probably confirm this. I cried at a programme about food tonight, the tears are daily and not really for any reason much of the time – like being really premenstrual.

Appointments: Just a quad blood test this week, as they couldn’t get little R-M in the right position to get its nuchal translucency measurement in the 12-week scan.

Looking: Fat. Just fat. It doesn’t look like a bump yet, just as though I’ve eaten too much lunch. My tummy is getting harder and my normal trousers are a bit uncomfortable. Despite still fitting, they dig into the middle of my tummy, so I’ve bought some maternity jeans this week and they are like heaven! I’ve lived in them since I bought them.

Craving: Salty foods like crisps, nuts, etc and diet coke, so I’ve bought some caffeine free Diet Coke and it seems to be helping. Still cannot bear the thought of cherry tomatoes – offensive little things!

Sleeping:Better this week, drifting off easier and moving about less. I’m still waking to go to the bathroom a lot, but I do get back off to sleep easier. Thank goodness.

Baby is the size of: A beetroot

Glad the sickness is passing, I’ll warn you the tiredness doesn’t really improve haha. Indiana slept through the night from 5 weeks and I still feel exhausted daily, luckily they’re so worth it! And don’t be silly your bump is definitely a baby bump! Xx
